Forgot to Be Oppressed, Busy Being Awesome

There are many people in the internet I have come across, concerned about my liberty and who spend their valuable time to convince me that I am oppressed through Islam. My rights in my choice of education, marriage and even my religion, the right of inheritance of property and maintaining it have been conferred upon me by Islam even before that of my birth, factually there is no oppression I face.

Persistent misconception about the liberty of Muslim women is the hijab and social mingling with men. Before moving into my topic I will have to state something important, the current laws and practices of 'moral' are secular, and they are subjected to changes with time and understanding and has ample disparities between different cultures, regions of a country and countries. You will come to realise why I had to mention this, keep reading....

Speaking of Hijabs, hijab is not only the covering for head or modest clothes but it also implies for the behaviour in adherence to the Islamic law. Why would anyone consider hijab as an oppression, while many women have chosen to expose themselves our choice is to cover up ourselves?

Switch on the television, there pops an advert on tooth brushes with women in erotic clothing. When driving on a highway do you not notice billboards bombarded with the images of women in immodest clothing and shameless postures? Are not women in the developed and modernised countries made to strip and dance in hotels and clubs?

Truth About the Status of Women in Islam

The common perception about the status of Muslim women are that they being oppressed, treated inferior and deprived of all their rights. But on observing the core of Islam, it is evident women are always raised in their status and dignity and given rights which prior to the spread of Islam women were deprived of.

Back in times when women were deprived or rather were not entitled for any rights and were treated as slaves and objects of possession by men, Islam raised our status by acknowledging us as equal to men. There has not been any secular laws that  eloquently stressed upon the fact of equality to women and give us our rights other than the words from the Holy Quran. It has given us rights and raised our status in various aspects - spiritual, social, economical and political namely.

It is mentioned in the Quran as:
"Their Lord responded to them: "I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female - you are equal to one another. Thus, those who immigrate, and get evicted from their homes, and are persecuted because of Me, and fight and get killed, I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams." Such is the reward from God. God possesses the ultimate reward." [3:195]

Clearly identifying that both men and women are equal. Also our beloved Prophet has mentioned that "women are twin halves of men".

The Gift of An Amazing Wife to Her Husband

"And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect." [Quran 30:21]

Saw these picture notes in the internet and thought they were far beyond being cute.

This amazing wife had made a series of hand drawn notes for her husband who was hospitalized for a week. Seeing these made him closer to tears. (Pictures from a Reddit User)

Born into Brothels - Documentary

Born into Brothels was an Oscar winning film about the life of 8 kids in a brothel, in Calcutta, India.

Ms. Zana Brisky on her visit to a red light district in Calcutta India, was moved and involved in the chaotic lives of kids born and brought up in the brothel. Zana involves in teaching the kids to use cameras as she provides them with it and also makes an attempt to educate the kids in boarding school as where they can eventually escape from the brothel and the 'in line' family business.

The film is also an insight to the kids emotions, who were all aged between 9 to 15,  and displays a hidden community beyond the red light borders, where people are oblivious of mercy, love and kindness to one another. The kids though were at the blooming ages og their life still knew what their destiny was, As Gour (13, male) says Zana that he wishes to take Puja (11, female) away from her likely future of a sex worker. Zana undergoes many legislative problems when she tries admitting the kids to boarding schools and on accomplishing it only a very few decide to remain in schools while the rest returned back to the brothel.

"I do not brag of my former position, yes I am a 32 degree mason, in the inner temple."

A Muslim brother speaks of his former Masonic life.

"I think it started when I was 13, there was a satanist who marked me, but actually it went back further than that. My Grandfather on my Mothers side was a master mason, and on my Father's side , well a whole lot of them. My family on my Father's side, come from Germany. We use to go to the rotary club Herman Blumenau a lot as a kid, the lions club, and other rotary clubs which are a part of the Illuminati network.

My Mother was a witch, and my Grandmother was a spiritualist, a movement started by H.P. Blavantsky in the 1800's, her works paved the way for the new age movement (new world order). Blavantsky is a open Luciferian, she had a publication called Lucifer. It is still being published under the name Lucis Trust,  they have a web site, they teach that Jesus is really Lucifer.

So, with this background and a fellow classmate marking me for Satan  I broke my christian ties, and swore allegiance to Satan. At 16 I read the complete bible , and found all the contradictions and used this to destroy people's faith, a false faith , but to turn them to Satan. At 18 I received my first sorcerer tools as a gift, if they are gifted they are more powerful than if you make them yourself. I got my wand, my chalice, my pentacle, my sword, and more grimoires (magic text ).

Muslims Celebrating Non-Muslim Holiday

We come across many non-Muslim celebrations, which sometimes seem very attractive to us or some others which seem too creepy for us but still there are rulings for us in our participation in such celebrations.

The following is from Majmoo’ah Fataawa wa Rasaa’il al-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (3/369)

Greeting the kuffaar on Christmas and other religious holidays of theirs is haraam, by consensus, as Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy on him, said in Ahkaam Ahl al-Dhimmah: "Congratulating the kuffaar on the rituals that belong only to them is haraam by consensus, as is congratulating them on their festivals and fasts by saying ‘A happy festival to you’ or ‘May you enjoy your festival,’ and so on. If the one who says this has been saved from kufr, it is still forbidden. It is like congratulating someone for prostrating to the cross, or even worse than that. It is as great a sin as congratulating someone for drinking wine, or murdering someone, or having illicit sexual relations, and so on. Many of those who have no respect for their religion fall into this error; they do not realize the offensiveness of their actions. Whoever congratulates a person for his disobedience or bid’ah or kufr exposes himself to the wrath and anger of Allaah."

Congratulating the kuffaar on their religious festivals is haraam to the extent described by Ibn al-Qayyim because it implies that one accepts or approves of their rituals of kufr, even if one would not accept those things for oneself. But the Muslim should not aceept the rituals of kufr or congratulate anyone else for them, because Allaah does not accept any of that at all, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

The New Journey

The amenity of life is not in being through the flawless path but rather the changes we inculcate for the redemption. It is the drawbacks and flaws from our end that make the person we are today. The tribulations sent to us are always blessings in disguise as they only make us aware of our creator and make us turn towards him, it is either that one incident we understand about our creator or we realise the path we are travelling in is wrong. It can be the acumen or intuition but at the end everyone is exposed to the truth.

"All truth passes through 3 stages. First it is ridiculed, Second it is violently opposed, Third it is accepted as being self -evident." ~ Arthur Schopenhaeur

Islam is recorded as the fastest growing religion on the face of Earth, and we know every year people in millions are reverting back to Islam, turning towards the truth, accepting Allah as their creator. Everyone have had many reasons which made them turns towards Islam and the story of our new brothers and sisters embracing Islam has always been inspiring and shows the mercy of our Al-mighty Allah.

'All praise is to Allah alone' our new brothers and sisters excel in their dedication, piety and love to Islam and their involvement in Dawah is also influential. They are not only an example for the rest of Muslims but are also positive impression for other prospect reverts.

Hijab At Your Wedding

Hijab is not just a covering of your head or a sense of fashion but rather it is a mark of piety and symbol of faith. Wearing it you are pleasing Allah and you would also be rewarded. It should totally be on the understanding you are doing it to please the Almighty not merely to please your parents or spouses.

Alhamdulillah many sisters have the practice of wearing hijab from their teens even though it is not enforced as a law especially in non-Muslim countries. We are also able to witness women in Islam working in various sectors but still guard their chastity and their modesty by wearing the hijab.

Sisters wearing hijab and modest clothing beautiful in the eyes of Allah take a complete change when it comes to one important event of their lives, their weddings. Marriage is a sacred covenant between the husband and wife and Allah it is also a start of a new life which they will have to start with the blessings and happiness of Allah but what is it that most of them pay attention to? Yes, the beauty from the eyes of others and appreciation of the creations and they completely forget the creator.

And unfortunately sisters also have a 'excuses' for removing the hijab.
'It is grandeur without hijab'
'It is just one day, it is not a 'big sin' '
'I look beautiful without hijab in my wedding dress'

Mockery On A Haji?

Well with the Hajj 2013 the best revolving picture in the internet is the picture of this Haji with a sling in hand.

Everyone seem to have taken great pleasure in mocking and joking and this Haji, but here is the original picture and also the Photoshop of the image one that is revolving in the internet. While we have been here in the internet all day doing good and bad , taking pleasure of what dunya has offered us has not Allah blessed him with the chance to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam? Who is the one to be pitied here?

The mockeries and laughs at him are just blessings for him in disguise (Intentionally or unintentionally)  from Allah, to raise his status in Jannah, but to those of us who are laughing at him what do we get in return?

Subliminal Messages From Disney!

Yes, most of us have grown up with Disney, but have we in our conscious minds ever realized the subliminal messages therein?

Our mind is ready to accept, follow and be controlled over what we see and hear rather than what we understand, psychological studies prove. But seeing is not only what is perceived by our  conscious mind but what about the perception below our threshold?

Subliminal messages can be rather said as images that are simple containing a hidden information or message that our unconscious mind perceives and we are tend to act on it which rather we would not do ordinarily. Subliminal ideas though originated with the idea of provoking emotions among humans and mainly been thrust into the advertising industry was proven to be ambiguous as it can instill negativity or rather control an individuals mind. The infused pictures or texts or statements are perceived by the unconscious visual and auditory of an individual manipulating without their own knowledge.

Study by professor Nillie Lavie as published in journal Emotion, shows that people are able to process emotional information from subliminal messages and also that in these conditions the mind can perceive the negative information much better than that of the positive values.

What are the reasons for the increased crimes? or I may ask it as what makes peoples' entry into jails increase at present context? Sex, Violence and Artificial drugs. What if these are the messages your mind perceives from your favorite cartoons?

Here are a few pictures from Disney....

We Need a Khilafate!!

Don't you think Muslims have become the target of attacks everywhere, yet we are taunted as terrorists?

What is happening in Syria, Egypt, Burma... the list goes on. What is happening to the Muslims? Are we waiting for some help from the 'Democratic' country of our? or from 'Democratic' Muslim countries??

Democracy is way for the evil to take lead, it is a plain secular system of rule, man made for man to convince and fulfill all his needs. It is and never will be the system of life that will eradicate poverty, gambling, crimes and discrimination from our society!!!

I know the next question anyone will shoot at me is, "then what is the solution???"

Have you all forgotten my brothers and system, leave the secular laws, our problems cannot be solved unless we follow the divine rules, unless we follow the shariah, the Law from the creator himself. Allahu akbar.

Ok, I get what your second question is... "How can we implement Shariah?"

Easy, remember the times back from our beloved prophet Muhammed sallahu walaihi Wasallam? We need the Islamic state, a Khilafath. We need an Islamic state that can unite the ummah, beyond the geographical barriers. We are Muslims before whatever nations we belong to... We need to build a khilafah.

Khilafah is not a future dream, we should work towards it, be aware of it and make others aware.

Rewards For Believers!

Allah has promised his believers with paradise which will be the everlasting home filled with many blessings. True faith and devotion to Allah alone can be the path to paradise, the promised home for believers. Allah, has blessed paradise with every thing that we a soul can desire.

Paradise is not a place merely of beauty as it is a common notion but rather it is a place of blessings, unseen by the humans and beyond our imaginations.

The following Qur'an verses say of the paradise and the eternal blessings therein,

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance  and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), and they will abide therein forever. [2:25]

Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever. [ 43:71]
This is the Paradise which you have been made to inherit because of your deeds which you used to do (in the life of the world). [43:72]
Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire). [43:73]

Is Pakistan a Mistake?

Islam and Modern History is a critique of the Islam in the current context about the Muslim intellectuals in the Islamic world rather specifically Arab, Turkey, Pakistan and India. The author Wilfred Cantwell Smith Canadian professor of Comparative religions, regards  that the creation of Pakistan is nothing but a mistake. The author vehemently condemns the Pakistanis for idealizing the past.

He says "It is impossible indeed meaningless, to try to reproduce in one age, the government of another. Pakistan cannot relieve a segment of the history of Arabia"

and the author in his book has spoken of a lavishing future the Muslims in India can have:
" In the 1030's Hussain Ahmed Madani, pronouncing India to be the nation of its Muslims, provoked from Muhammed Iqbal a scornful retort in poetry that a Muslim can have no other nation than Islam. Recent events have atleast begun to dislodge this conviction. The Indian Muslims have seen law and order prevail. They have seen how police have stopped fanatic Hindu riots against them and how the government has prevented the conversion of a mosque into a Hindu temple. They find themselves free to practise and preach their religion. Not much reflection is needed to realize that the welfare of the Muslims in India depends on secular state. Whatever traditional theology says, secularism works. As a result, relatively few Indian Muslims still cling to the Islamic state idea."

~ Heart Touching Letter ~

Letter from Dr Mohamed Beltagy to his martyred daughter. {Egypt}

Below is a translation of the original letter:

My beloved daughter and dignified teacher Asmaal Beltaji; I do not say goodbye to you; I say tomorrow we shall meet again.
You have lived with your head held high, rebellious against tyranny and shackles and loving freedom. You have lived as a silent seeker of new horizons to rebuild this nation to assume its place among civilizations.

You never occupied yourself with what preoccupies those of your age. Even though traditional studies failed to fulfill your aspirations and interest; you have always been the first in your class.
I have not had enough of your precious company in this short life, especially that my time did not allow me to enjoy your companionship.

The last time we sat together at Rabaa Al Adawiya square you asked me "even when you are with us you are busy" and I told you "it seems that this life will not be enough to enjoy each other's company so I pray to God that we enjoy our companionship in paradise."

Democracy Creed ? Beware !

"So I frankly say to the Muslims that the nationalistic, secularist democracy contradicts the Religion and Aqeeda that you embrace. So if you surrender to it, this would be as if you have left the book of Allah behind your backs; and if you take part in establishing or keeping it, you have indeed betrayed your Messenger SAWS whom Allah sent to you...wherever this system is present we do not, therefore, regard Islam as being existent, and wherever Islam is present there is no place for this system”

[From the Book called "Islam and the Modem Civilisations" by Al-Mawdudi]

Reconciliation of Islam into 21st Century

"Islam should tune with the Modern world to ensure it's survival". This is a common heard statement amongst the Muslim countries striving for democracy and nationalism. The western educated ruling class are incessant in in reminding that we cannot live in the bygone age, made to believe that it is impossible to turn back the clock. Hence we are moving into fulfill the needs of the secular society.

Now we are given plenty of suggestions to become strong, that we must reject 'traditional' interpretations of the Quran and rather read it "rationally" in the light of modern life. The modern reforms instituted by Muslim countries have this goal, but how any of us are realizing the impacts and importance of these in the Muslim community?

The idea of an Islamic state is an anathema to the western rules world hence we are persistently told to abolish the system of Khalifate and dismiss any possibility of its revival. Politics and government based on religion are considered to be medieval, and plenty of Muslim countries are working hard towards spreading the blame of various evil afflicted on them throughput history on the Khalifate system. There are also claims Khilafate system is not in Islam as our beloved Prophet Muhammed ( PBUH) mission was limited to preaching.

But.....
Islam cannot live without an Islamic community, and an Islamic community cannot survive without an organized leadership.

Shariah is vehemently condemned in the western society, who believes the secular laws can contribute more towards the well-being of the society than the Shariah. After abolishing the khalifate the next target would be the shariah. We are made to believe shariah isn't compatible for the current culture, where drugs, alcohol, gambling, interest and sex have a major part of the daily activities hence the secular laws are rather feasible and the punishment for these according to shariah are considered inhumane. Islamic way of life cannot persist without shariah.

It is not going to be a hard task fore the destruction of the Muslim ummah after abolishing the Islamic system and law. Instead of being one ummah despite of language, race and country we are told to pride ourselves with our nationalism. This would only lead to the isolation of the Muslim people from one another.

Islam for ourselves is a common idea striking among the Muslim countries, they even want the Quran not with Arabic and their language translated but solely in their own language. Isn't this an open invitation to the include variations and misconceptions in the Holy Quran?

With the industrialization modern philosophies declare all problems can be overcome without the divine aid. And that is the reason for all the endless struggles fought to eradicate poverty, diseases and ignorance and yet no government is willing to enforce the Zakath, prohibit interest or bring Quranic laws into action.

Our western influenced leaders also strive for the liberation of the women. Liberation and freedom is when they have the rights to gain education and develop minds and exhibit their skills but what is rather meant as emancipation at today's context is women socially mingling with men and wearing clothes immodest and rather make them a prey of eyes. Western clothing have now become the symbol for progress and development while traditional and modest clothing is regarded as backwardness and ignorance. Implying the western dress code among our ummah only leads us astray from chastity and Islamic ways.

We are moving in to a system where Islamic ways are evidently made invisible and adopting the western cultures in to ours.  Has not our prophet Muhammed (PBUH) entioned: "He who imitates a people one of them" ?

It is enough us being blind fold. The more we strive to reform Islam and make it incompatible to the modern life, the more weaker we become. Now shown what happens on re-conciliating Islam to current context, it is time for you all to decide what can be done?

Oceanology in Quran

The miracles in Quran are never ending, When I came across these Quran verses, Subhanallah I was astonished.

Oceanology in The Noble Quran

He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. [55:19]

Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. [55:20]

Above lines from the Quran says the seas meet and mix but yet there is a barrier among them, this was a statement which was unable to be answered by earlier commentators.

Recently revealed fact:
Amazing natural phenomenon where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meets, but do not mix with each other!

Modern Science has discovered that in places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity and density. {Principles of Oceanography, Davis, pp. 92-93.} There is an unseen water barrier between the two seas, such that when water from one sea enters the other it loses its specific characteristics and gets homogenized by the other sea.

This phenomenon has yet again been mentioned in the Quran as follows,

"And has set a barrier between the two seas"  [27:61]

And considering the following Quran verse, which speaks of divider between fresh and salt water

And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them. [25:53]

Now this may lead to a question that Quran is speaking of a partition when it when mentioning the fresh water and salt water, which was not mentioned while speaking of the seas.

Modern Sciences have revealed that in estuaries where fresh water and salt water meet the scenario is quite different from the meeting of two seas. Fresh water is distinguished from salt water in estuaries by a "pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers." {Oceanography, Gross, p.242. Also see Introductory Oceanography, Thurman, pp. 300-301 ; Oceanography, Gross, p. 244 and Introductory Oceanography, Thurman, pp.300-301}. This zone of partition has different salinity than that of the fresh water and salt water.

The human eye cannot directly observe these separations and barriers, while it has only just been recently discovered. But these are recorded in the Quran that was revealed to my beloved prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) 1400 years ago, is this not sufficient to know Quran is none but the words of Allah?

There was just one verse that came into my mind when coming across the science in Quran....

Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? [55:21]

Trust

Trusting everyone is dangerous,
Trusting no one is disastrous........!

It is easy to lay trust on anyone, and sometimes at the end of the day you will be hurt, trusting no one makes you feel secure but not for long..... you are deprived of belonging to a shoulder to lean onto!

Trials and Believers!

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test). [29:3]

Those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism) and in Messenger Muhammad SAW, and do not apostate because of the harm they receive from the polytheists], and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall remit from them their evil deeds and shall reward them according to the best of that which they used to do.  [29:7]

Verily, Allah knows those who believe, and verily, He knows the hypocrites [i.e. Allah will test the people with good and hard days to discriminate the good from the wicked (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)]. [29:11]

Are Muslims Fundamentalists?

Now that is one questions being often hurled at Muslims and moreover called as Terrorists too, on the contradictory Islam has become the fastest growing religion in the world too.

Of course Muslims are fundamentalists, as fundamentalists is referring to anyone who strictly adhere to the fundamentals of the doctrine or ideology they follow and never compromise on it.  A doctor can be the best if he follows the fundamentals on the medicine, similarly a true Muslim will be follow the fundamentals of Islam. Fundamentalists overall cannot be categorized to good or bad, it is based on the fundamental they are following. A thief following the fundamentals in it is bad and a doctor following the fundamentals of medicine is good.

Muslims follow the holy Quran, we abide by it, there isn't a fundamental of Islam that causes harm to human kind. Plenty of people have misconceptions about Islam and the fact is because they lack proper knowledge and understanding on Islam.

Questioning a religion to know the truth is right but abusing and spreading misconceptions without proper realization shows the individuals weakness and leads them astray!

Loneliness and Me

Loneliness has always been a part of me...
'There is no one for me, not even God.... He has moved away from me' was the most uttered words from my mouth.....

It's not God who was away from me, I was being frequent to check new messages in Facebook, forgot about the holy messages from Allah - Al-Quran..... I have been drifting away from him!

Alhamdulillah, I am beginning to discover the miracles of Quran again, the everlasting joys and cures... I'm not lonely anymore...  Allah is closer to me than anyone...

"He (Allah) said: Fear not, Verily I am with you both, hearing and seeing." [Taa-haa 20: 46]
"He is closer to you than your jugular vein" [Qaaf 50:16 ]
