The Boy Was Asked to Draw Our Beloved Prophet

Love is not always about a person you have seen, and the love we have for our beloved Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) is one such example which millions around the world fail to realize.

This video is of a boy who was asked to draw the Prophet, and his reply in this dilemma is breathtaking.

It was narrated that Anas said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him that his father, his child and all the people.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 15; Muslim, 44)

The Night of Power

How Rightly has Allah said .. Wama adraka maa Laylatul Qadr ?  And what do you know what is Laylatul Qadr?.. Ah only if we knew what is Laylatul Qadr?

Allah Ta’ala in His infinite Mercy has favored us in so many ways. Such blessings that we cannot possibly enumerate nor show sufficient gratitude to the Almighty. Amongst the many blessings include a very special GIFT..Laylatul Qadr- The Night of Power.

It is an opportunity to gain closeness to our Creator, forgiveness of our sins and an elevated position in Jannah (Paradise). The Night of Power is better than a 1000 months(83 years, 4 months) as mentioned in Qur'aan!

Allah, Most Wise, says:
"The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.” (Quran 97:3 )

What strategies do you use when you have to keep yourself awake for whole night for the preparation of school/university exams?

Just think of them and they might help you in keeping yourself awake in these Last 10 Nights of Ramadan as well.

Worship during this night can take on many forms. Here are a few suggestions to help you through Laylatul Qadr:

~ No matter how good or bad our Ramadan went, enter the last 10 Days well prepared, with pure intentions, full energy and a positive outlook.

~Do not only seek it on the 27th, but ALL odd nights as it is hidden and not known.

~Take a nap of one hour in the first part of the night, like immediately after 'Isha  Salah and then get ready for worship.

~Do not overeat keep your stomach light. Drink more water in between 'Ibaadah. Have a cup of tea or coffee for keep staying active Bi-idhnillaah.

~Choose the most comfortable place for worship in your home or Masjid.  Avoid leaning to pillows & cushions while reciting Qur'an or Adhkaar so as to keep your back straight.

~If you're alone in the room, recite the Qur'an in a loud beautiful voice so that your ears & heart remain involved with the recitation and you don't feel drowsy. Plus it has an amazingly calming effect trust me!

~Take regular breaks during the night to avoid getting over-exhausted. Try switching between different forms of worship (like from Qur'an to Qiyaam or Qiyaam to Du'aa etc) to avoid monotony and to remain involved throughout.

~Elongate your Sujood and make loads and loads of Du'aas in it. Raise your Du'aa - Remember it's the night of decree and angels are precisely writing down whatever is gonna happen in your life for the next coming year, be specific in your Du'aas and ask for each and everything you need - Hajj, Job, Career, Spouse, Children, Home, whatever. Don't play small in your Du'aas as you're asking the KING OF ALL KINGS!

~Perform I'tikaf (seclusion in a Masjid for worship) –Try to spend full ten days in I’tikaf. If you cannot spend all 10 days in Itikaaf, then do as many days as you can - even if it is only one day.According to the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) “whosoever performs "I'tikaaf" for a day thereby seeking the pleasure of Allah, Allah will spread three trenches between him and the fire of Hell, the width of each trench being greater than the distance between Heaven and the Earth."

~Ask ALLAH to grant you Lailatul Qadr and accept from you whatever 'ibaadaat you did by His tawfeeq.

If you have some more tips,  please share them in the comments section. Be a source of goodness for those around you and remember me and our whole Ummah in your precious Du'aas...

Aisha, Mother of the Believers, and wife of our beloved Prophet (saw) asked him , “What if I knew which night Laylatul Qadr was, then what should I say in it?”

He (saw) said, “Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘annee."
Translation: “O Allah You are The One Who pardons greatly, and loves to pardon, so pardon me.”

~Make this du'a as much as you can ALL LAST TEN NIGHTS. This way you will not, insha'Allah, miss the Night of Power which falls on one of the odd nights.

Watch this awesome video to understand the significance of the simple dua that can be the step to re-write our stories!. Understanding the meaning of this du'a alone will raise your iman!! Allahu Akbar....

United we Rise, Divided we Fall

Have we forgotten about the colonial butchers who wiped out a chunk of the Ummah over the last 200 - 300 years? Then they struck the core Constantinople in 1924 and began to carve out and divide our lands and imprison people within boundaries.

The colonialist forced Millions of people to leave their properties, hundreds of thousands were martyred, thousands were dishonored, but the Muslims never regret for they know that their compensation lies with Ar-Raheem! Soon after the Colonialist gave them little flags and installed little puppets to keep their new formed colonies in regulation and kept the people busy with Nationalistic sentiments and independence.

As for what we face today, Islam remains the beating heart of our being as individuals and as a Muslim people. We are restless before a new oppression, a British Raj, an American-Hindu Raj, which seeks to lay to waste the historical and momentous sacrifice of our forefathers.

Intentions Beware!

With the connection to the entire world at our fingertips we are able to share our days, thoughts and needs with the entire world with just the click of a button. This has also been a reason for many social activities and actions taking place online. This varies from fundraising, petitions, awareness programs to local neighbourhood activities.

I am no exception to be among the ones who shared heart breaking pictures of Syrian kids, lost families and their devastated homes to create awareness on the situation  and tell the world their plight. I have also not failed to see our young ummah who travelled to different nations to help our suffering ummah, get their real time pictures and upload on social media, so the rest of the world is enlightened on their agony.
